A common condition, where parents carry on with their lives while blatantly ignoring and denying the dangers surrounding them and their children.

Symptoms include.
Repeating the mantra "My kid would never do that."
Not believing evidence to the contrary.
Believing the child and not their teachers.
Enabling the child because it's easier than helping them.

As a school teacher I've seen many cases of this dreaded disease.
