A combination of unrelated elements that make up a cohesive image. I created this for a contest who's theme was blooming May.
With some reasaerch I discovered that a bloom is a gathering of jellyfish and May is the time of year that many countries honor fallen war heros.
Combining these elements I came up with this strange and warped image. I included a large close up so you can see the details in the skin texture.
(The texture took a lot of work.)
