I hit on the idea, of making a hospital scene instead and added a bed to see how it would look.

Once I added the hospital bed, I tried several different lighting settings and settled on the lighting on the right. I also decided to use Miki from e-frontier as the model for the image.
After experimenting with several camera settings and hair style changes. I settled on the final composition. I also added some green to the atmosphere. The image still didn't seem right, so I added the curtain and pumps. now all I needed to do was add the post work using Photoshop.
Vue is a program designed specifically to create realistic landscapes. Vue was the program used to create the island in Pirates of the Caribbean. Dead mans chest, in the areal shots of the island in the beginning of the movie.
I like to use the program for my final compositions and renders, because I think the final results look better, even though the render times are longer.
